No Reverse
It’s Halloween and that means it’s time for spooks! I told you that we were going to have some spooky news for you this month! Our new song, No Reverse is out now!! Go jam it and get into a spooky mood! We certainly had our fair share of frights when working on this release. Not trying to make a big deal out of it but I was abducted by a Spooky Skull Ghost just a few days ago. We’ve got proof! It was a truly horrifying experience for everyone involved (Spooky Skull Ghost included). Luckily my captor didn’t have any brains so escape was easy. I used some clever wordplay and negotiated my escape. When the Spooky Skull Ghost asked me if I would back up and go back into captivity I said, “No, there’s no reversing.”
No Reverse is a very important song for us. It marks our fourth release since committing to a new schedule of releasing new material every month. This new schedule was first put into place at the beginning of July with All Good, and so far we’ve managed to maintain that schedule with Can We Go in August, Take What You Want in September, and now No Reverse. It’s not easy but it’s definitely worth it. We have dozens (and I mean DOZENS) of unfinished songs just waiting to be worked on and finished. If we were to maintain this schedule, we would be putting out new music every month until we’re old enough to retire! That’s not even an exaggeration because we’re still writing new songs while we work on finishing old ones!
We’ve also been working a lot with Tyler Smyth from DangerKids and Myth in recent months. Not only did we collaborate on Can We Go but he also mastered No Reverse! He has been incredibly helpful for us. The amount of insight, knowledge, and social networking that he’s provided for us is absolutely priceless. Tyler if you’re reading this, we are so so soooo thankful. Lastly, I wanted to thank you, the reader. We couldn’t do any of this without you! I really hope you’re having a happy, safe, and sweet Halloween! Just don’t eat too much candy because once you have that stomach ache, there’s No Reversing that!
